B-Star

Triple-threat Rench's (producer, musician, shopping cart racer) country hip-hop band B-Star (aka Battlestar/Battlestar America) has a new website, and a new EP called "What We Do" available at cdbaby.

'"What We Do" is Honky-Tonk Hip-Hop busting out with danceable grooves and sweet harmonies, funky breaks and rapping along side wailing fiddles and twangy guitars.'

Mobley Street Productions / Clay

Laurel Parker's new production company now has a website at mobleystreet.com. Check out under "Now Playing" to see the video of "Our Town" which she directed a few years back, it's a lot better than the low-res version we've had on this site. The other videos are cool too.

She's also selling copies of her short film "Clay", featuring us (you know.. The Adjusters) and I suppose some other bands you might have heard of as well:

"Clay, winner of the Bay Area Scooter Film Festival, is a genuinely funny comedy set to the upbeat swinging sounds of sax man David Hillyard (The Slackers, Dave Hillyard & the Rocksteady 7) and includes a never before released demo track from Hepcat."

Chickenfat, Last Time.

Update! Just found out that Chickenfat will not be playing as Jessica's apparently quite sick. CMC and 1337 will still be playing however.

Remainders

My (Jason's) band The Remainders have just released a new album. It's not anything like The Adjusters (shhhhh... it's indie rock), but check it out at cdbaby, where you can also find Oscar's band Battlestar America and a TON of other independent music.
